Youth have many activities available to them throughout the church year, including participating in a Corn Maze, Youth game night, “Biking with the Pastors,” and a lock-in. You are also engaged in All-church, intergenerational activities such as Advent Beginnings and the epiphany Dinner. Youth also serve as helpers at children’s activities, including Vacation Bible School. More recently, youth have been the driving force behind the children’s Christmas play, helping to write, direct, and participate in the play.
Confirmation Class for 7th graders and beyond meets on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 11:30 (following Worship). Using the curriculum Confirm not Conform, Confirmands learn what it means to be followers of Jesus. Youth participate in class, explore faith with the help of mentors, and engage in service projects, such as Let’s Build Beds, packing school bags for Church World Services (CWS), or working in the gardens at Grace Community Center, a mission partner.
